About Us
Welcome to Harborne Football Coaching!
Once a company which started with 12 children in Harborne has now grown across Birmingham as well as a affiliated partnership with Birmingham City Football Club. With over 10 years experience coaching in different settings around the country and at different levels, we have designed a programme which ensures children develop their confidence on the ball, have freedom to play and most importantly have fun. We provide coaching in different locations around Birmingham as well as taking part in different charity events. Meet the team below!
Mitchell has a wide range of coaching experience from coaching in London to coaching in Chester. As well as always being close to West Midlands Academies and gaining experience from here, Mitchell is a primary school teacher. His roles are to monitor the course to ensure the children develop in each of the FA Four corner models, the recruitment of the correct coaches and the continuous training of coaches.

Head Coach - Jamie Ruston
Despite his young age, Jamie is an experienced coach, who has worked in multiple settings. Jamie started his journey as an assistant coach with Harborne Football Coaching and he wanted to gain further experiences. Therefore, he volunteered at a local club as head coach developing his coaching skills which led him to complete his FA Level 1. From here, he began leading sessions in Harborne coaching sessions for over 80 children in 3 hours. Since then, Jamie now coaches on all of our courses, as well as working for MW Fitness providing lunchtime activities and supply teaching in secondary schools.

Assistant Coach - Kaled Sabber
Arriving from Portugal, Kaled is our newest coach. After completing his BTEC Level 3 in Sport, he wants to embark on his coaching adventure with us. He is a confident individual, who has a passion for coaching and he will help support Jamie as well as learning new coaching strategies.

Assistant Coach - Carter Dunbar
Currently at college, Carter has had a passion for football from a young age. Although doing an accounting course, he enjoys volunteering on our Friday course and helping Jamie with his sessions. Expect to see Carter more often on our Harborne course doing our registers and heading into more of an admin role.
